‘Aviation DFMC SBAS Receiver Prototype (Second Source)’

Description

Development and testing of an aviation DFMC SBAS prototype receiver. Development and testing of an aviation DFMC SBAS prototype receiver that will support the EUROCAE DFMC SBAS MOPS validation and will enable industrialisation of the prototype and certification of the receiver in the shortest possible time (industrialisation and certification are out of scope of the procurement). The receiver shall include DFMC SBAS functions (for GPS and Galileo), as well as Horizontal-ARAIM and RAIM functions. A Vertical-ARAIM function shall be taken into account for the purpose of dimensioning the computational capabilities in the design and development of the prototype receiver. The implementation of Horizontal-ARAIM and the assumptions for Vertical-ARAIM shall be based on the current state of standardisation of this feature at the beginning of the activity and updated during the course of the project.
