A Contractor is sought to undertake emergency repair works on Plas Tan y Bwlch, a C18 Grade II* Listed Building located in Maentwrog, Gwynedd.The main contractors tendering for the works should show extensive knowledge and experience of work on conservation and Listed Building. The main contractors will need to provide evidence of:-• Similar conservation / Listed Projects they have worked on in the past.• Knowledge and extensive experience of working with Hot Lime products and NHL lime work.• Knowledge and extensive experience of Stonemasonry and past examples of Stonemasonry work.• Knowledge and extensive experience of Listed Building and conservation methodologies and conservation methods of work.• Knowledge and Experience of working with CADW.• The Contractor should have approved conservation operatives who have extensive experience and knowledge of Hot Lime and NHL Lime works.• The Contractor should demonstrate their in-house tradesmen workforce and should indicate their workforce is are approved with relevant conservation qualification in conservation works, including hot lime work, NHL Lime and Stonemasonry.Full details available in attached documents
