Delivery of Fire Safety Training in the HSE North West - Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan. The HSE Capital and Estates Dept. North West aims to establish a Service level agreement with suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a Fire Safety training programme for HSE staff as required under the Fire Services Act 1981, 2003, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Department of the Environment Guidelines, Health Technical Memoranda and the HSE’s Corporate Safety Statement. The Estates Dept. of HSE North West facilitates fire safety training on behalf of the PCCC and National Hospital Offices for approximately 8,000–8,500 part-time and full-time staff, spread across a portfolio of around 500 premises in counties Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo and West Cavan. Approximately 80 of these locations contain patients in a residential setting on short or long term care. There are also a number of Voluntary agency organisation locations included in the figures.
