Provision of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Maintenance & Associated Services (2026-30)

Description

The University of Strathclyde ("the University") is seeking to establish a Contract for the Provision of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Maintenance & Associated Services (2026-30) (UOS-39265-2025). Lot 1: The University of Strathclyde (“the University”) is seeking to establish a contract to support the delivery of activities outlined below. This Contract will include, however, will not be limited to: - Provide inspection, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair services for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems owned and operated by the University at the John Anderson Campus: - Implement a structured maintenance program - allocate resources for ongoing inspections, servicing, and repairs: - Maintain compliance with warranties, insurance requirements, and regulatory standards: - Monitor performance metrics to ensure expected energy yields; and - Must have demonstrable experience in servicing commercial PV installations, including safe DC isolation procedures, system performance evaluation, thermal imaging and the identification of common degradation and failure modes. The Contract will be awarded on a sole supply basis, and its remit largely relates to Services.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
