Flat Link Roof – Full Strip and Replacement: The primary element of the project is the removal and replacement of the flat link roof located between the new building and adjoining listed building. This roof provides the only direct interface with the listed structure, and works must be carefully managed to avoid any impact on the historic fabric.Localised Repairs to the New Building Roof: In addition to the link roof replacement, a series of isolated repairs are required to address known defects and water ingress on other areas of the new roof. These areas do not interface with the listed building. Key Considerations: Who? Garland UK have carried out surveys and produced a specification for the roof repair works. It is crucial that a Garland UK approved contractor carry out these roof repair works.
