Alderney Airport Runway and Terminal Rehabilitation

On behalf of the States of Guernsey, the States’ Trading Supervisory Board (STSB) is responsible for the operation of Alderney Airport. Delivery of the service falls within the scope of Guernsey Airport, which is a trading entity of STSB. The STSB has a preferred Alderney Airport Rehabilitation option which includes widening, extending and resurfacing of the runway, resurfacing of the apron and taxiway, improved drainage and enhancement of approach and runway lighting. The scope of this option also includes the demolition and reconstruction of the airport terminal and or the refurbishment of the fire station buildings. These are to be constructed through the use of modular systems that can be shipped to the island and assembled on site on newly constructed foundations.
