Description
The purpose of this commission is to appoint a Contractor under an early contractor involvement ("ECI") period, to carry out the detailed design of the remedial works identified within the Building Fabric Condition Survey Reports for the eight (8) ventilation stations across the Kingsway and Queensway Tunnel estate. The proposed contract is a 2 (two) stage contract as detailed in the tender documents: * Stage One - ECI /design development * Stage Two - Construction Phase (Remedial Works). N.B. This stage is dependent on the Authority accepting the proposed construction costs developed during the ECI period and the Contractor agreeing to undertake the Works in accordance with the project deadlines set out in the tender documents.
