This is not a tender competition no tender documents are available at this stage. This is a prior information notice. HEAnet intends to issue tenders to procure: software, software package and information systems, educational software packages, license management software package, network monitoring software, datacentre fit-out, network switches, data centre equipment, servers, converged infrastructure technologies and associated equipment, computers, journals, books, video conferencing equipment and services. There is no guarantee that contracts will arise, but interested parties should note that as and when contracts arise they will be advertised on the Irish government procurement portal ww.etenders.gov.ie and the Official Journal of the EU(where applicable). The areas may be awarded as contracts or framework agreements. The start dates are not known at this stage. HEAnet will issue calls for competition in due course.
