3D Model viewer and hosting services

Description

Geological Survey Ireland is the Department division with responsibility for creating and distributing 3D geological models. The Department has a requirement for development and maintenance of a 3D model viewer and provision of 3D model hosting services on a viewer available through www.gsi.ie The 3D model viewer will be used for showcasing 3D geological models produced in-house or in collaboration with other institutions and for facilitating easy download by the general public. The Department requires the following services: • Maintain existing 3D model viewer or develop viewer to similar standard, with equivalent capabilities and performance. • Implement layout, and adjust as needed based on www.gsi.ie and requirements from GSI Information Management and other staff. • Upload of 3D geological models (including existing models and new ones as they are produced from GSI projects or collaborations.) • Manage viewer (including any maintenance/updates) and host models for 12 month terms over a period of 4 years. • Offer ongoing support throughout contract duration
