Description

The Nobel Peace Centre will make a new exhibition on the Nobel Peace Prize and Alfred Nobel. The exhibition will communicate content on Alfred Nobel, his history, the background for the Nobel Peace Prize and the other prizes, the Nobel year, and historical events. The internal project team would like help with developing, designing and producing the exhibition. The goal of this basic exhibition is to reach all visitors, but the Nobel Peace Centre will emphasise the main target group of 14-16 years. Variation in communication methods and innovation in telling the story are important for the development of a new exhibition on the Nobel Peace Centre's core content. The planned opening is autumn 2021. Lot 1: 'The Nobel Peace Prize is what makes us unique. Through innovative communication methods, public involvement, and meeting places connected to the history of the Nobel Peace Prize and the peace prize winners' ideas and work, we want to be capable of inspiring, impressing, and involving our visitors, guests, and collaboration partners, so that they are inspired to have new ideas, solutions, and small and large changes'. Alfred Nobel and the peace prize history will be better known through a new exhibition. The exhibition will be the first meeting with the peace prize. Interest must be created here that will form the basis for the rest of the visit. Our experiences, as well as feedback from the public, show that we must tell the history of our core content early during the visit. This basic exhibition will be part of a superior general plan for the public's journey through the Nobel Peace Centre. Resources from Sparebankstiftelsen, and a minor alteration in the large hall on the ground floor, will realise the plans for a new exhibition during autumn 2021. The economic limit for the procurement is NOK 4 000 000 excluding VAT. This includes the entire process with development, design and production, as well as fees.
