Published

Description

Ref: North Northants Family Hubs market engagement event for the development of a sustainable and fit for purpose Volunteer Academy Dear all North Northants Family Hubs has openly invited stakeholders to express their interest in participating in a market engagement event, which is scheduled for Wednesday 7 December 2023, 10am - 12 midday. During the event, North Northants Family Hubs will present their proposals to attendees and seek feedback from stakeholders during a question-and-answer session. To ensure that they design services that will promote good outcomes for children and families, they are seeking views from all stakeholders. The aim of this enagegment exercise is: For North Northants Family Hubs to share its vision of a future service delivery model and to seek feedback from stakeholders. To plan towards forthcoming procurement arrangements. To build on existing expertise and ensure the best use of the funding resources. To work in partnership to maximise outcomes through innovative service design 1. The questions we aim to ask are listed below and will be uploaded for any stakeholders unable to attend who may be interested in responding. In terms of the delivery model what are your views on: The types of service that are proposed for the Family Hubs Volunteer Academy. Supporting people with lived experience of perinatal mental health and parent-infant-relationship difficulties to sustain peer support roles. The service design objectives. The length of contract and mobilisation. 2. Establishing partnership arrangements and support for organisations to improve and develop volunteering practices. What are your views on: Volunteer charters and toolkits to include a checklist of policies and procedures to check if organisations are 'volunteer-ready'. MDT inductions. Online volunteer databases so a wide audience can view opportunities. Monitoring volunteer data across the area. Volunteer network meetings. 3. Based on our needs assessment, we know that marginalised groups and people with protected characteristics are disproportionately underrepresented in services. In terms of ensuring the service reaches more communities and cohorts of people e.g. elderly, BAME, LQBTQ+ and people with disabilities. What are your views on: Specialist support and provision, including targeted interventions and support. Working in partnership with specialist organisations. Many thanks North Northants Council Family Hubs Programme
