Housing programmes for unaccompanied minor refugees

Lot 1: The contracting authority has decided to house 31 new unaccompanied minor refugees in 2023. As of April 2023, the contracting authority is responsible for 84 young refugees living in various housing programmes such as institutions, foster homes, shared housing and in their own homes. The youths will be aged 13 - 17 years when they are housed, but will be followed up with aftercare when they turn 18. The contracting authority operates 4 shared housing centres for unaccompanied minor refugees with a total of 20 places. In 2023, there is a need for new shared housing places in the shared housing centres. As a supplement to its own measures, the municipality will enter into a contract with a private provider to cover the need for places in shared housing. The contest is for a shared housing centre for 4 youths who will be aged 13-16 at the time of move-in. During the year, the municipality will consider whether there will also be a need to advertise more places for private operation in order to fulfil this year's housing agreement with the Norwegian Directorate for Integration and Diversity [Integrerings- og mangfoldsdirektoratet (IMDi)].
