FWC for the Supply of Satellite Remote Sensing Data and and Associated Services in Support of on-the-spot-checks within the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)

Description

This framework contract is a continuation of the VHR profile II contract number 931886 which expires on 16 February 2021. That framework contract allows purchase of very high resolution satellite imagery for the CAP on the spot checks Controls with Remote Sensing (CwRS). Since there is a delay in the introduction of the CAP2020+ reform, the use of such imagery and same control mechanism will be required also after the expiry of the presently running framework contract. It will be required at least until end of 2022, with a possible residual activity even post 2022. This new framework contract will therefore run after the expiry of FWC 931886, and in the transition between CAP 2014-2020 to CAP2020+ and needs to provide state of the art very high resolution satellite imagery as of Reg.1306/2013. Moreover, the new framework will continue to satisfy the needs of Quality Assurance (LPIS 640/2014 art. 6) and any other upcoming QA needs.
