ON-ISLAND CONTRACTORS ONLY The objective of the scheme is to demolish the existing concrete deck, beams and columns and support the historic pier ahead of a future stabilisation project. The Contractor to undertake the duties of Principle Contractor in line with the Jersey Management in Construction (Jersey) Regulations 2016. To undertake the following construction activities: · Remove and make safe any existing utilities on or under the concrete deck, historic lighting columns to be retained for later re-use; · Demolish the concrete deck, beams and concrete columns · Demolish existing concrete stairs · Install temporary propping to historic pier wall · Install new coping to piers edge and make good surfacing · Install new temporary edge protection to the historic pier ON-ISLAND CONTRACTORS ONLY Keywords: Pier, Demolition, Historic Pier
