Safety and Support Services for Temporary Accommodation, Emergency Response and Site Stabilisation. The Council currently provides a range of temporary accommodation services across Manchester for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Many residents accommodated within these services may have experienced trauma, poor mental health, substance use, domestic abuse, housing instability, or other complex circumstances that require a flexible, sensitive and supportive approach. To support the effective management of these services, the Council commissions Safety and Support Services across its temporary accommodation portfolio. The service plays an important role in maintaining safe and secure environments, supporting resident wellbeing, managing risks, responding to incidents and contributing to the day-to-day operation of accommodation services. The Council is using the e-business portal known as the Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link www.the-chest.org.uk . Once registered, applicants will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the documentation relating to this Preliminary Market Engagement. Manchester City Council is conducting a preliminary market engagement exercise to seek feedback from the market on the proposed Safety and Support Services for Temporary Accommodation, Emergency Response and Site Stabilisation. The exercise will assist the Council gather insights in advance of a potential future procurement. Please note this is not a call for competition and Manchester City Council reserves the right not to proceed to procurement.
