Description

FREVAR KF would like to receive tender offers for the repair and replacement of masonry in the boilers at FREVAR's energy recovery plant. Lot 1: As part of the annual maintenance stops, the masonry must be inspected and necessary repair work must be carried out. The work is normally carried out twice per year, generally in April/May and September/October. The condition of the masonry and the extent of the work to be carried out is not known until the individual combustion line has been stopped and an inspection has been carried out. The final scope of the work will be decided by FREVAR after the inspection and after an overall assessment by FREVAR in collaboration with the contractor during the course of the work. The quality of the materials to be used must be approved by FREVAR before the work is performed. The tenderer is responsible for all necessary engineering of the overall delivery. Documentation in the form of descriptions, quality documents, forms, inspection forms/lists and material descriptions must be submitted to FREVAR. A final report describing what has been done and what materials have been used must be submitted when the delivery is completed. When removing old masonry, great care must be taken to avoid injuring or damaging pipes. If such injury or damage occur anyhow, they must be repaired by a certified welder at the expense of the tenderer. Maintenance shutdown will last for approx. 5-6 days. The work must be carried out in the shortest amount of time possible, and round-the-clock work must therefore be expected. The work will take place in parallel with other activities, so consideration and flexibility must be demonstrated. The tenderer must adapt to the local conditions and take the necessary measures to minimise negative consequences such as dust and noise. The tenderer must provide the necessary containers etc. for the proper storage of materials and tools. One of the tenderer's on-site employees will act as a contact person/manager for the company's employees, so that, to the greatest extent possible, communication and contact with FREVAR will take place through this contact person/manager. FREVAR provides changing room space, a dining area, electricity and water. Fireproof masonry work amounts to approx. NOK 2.5 million per year. This is only a guideline sum and is non-binding for FREVAR KF. Extent of the delivery - Removal of existing masonry that will be renewed - Transport of masonry from the boiler room (must not be tipped into a feeder) - Sandblasting, cleaning of panelled walls that have been cleaned of masonry - Delivery and welding on of new anchors - Delivery and application of new masonry - Necessary equipment to carry out the work. - Complete documentation The delivery must be complete and functional within the specified delivery limits. Outside of the delivery The following works are outside of the scope of delivery and will be carried out by FREVAR: - Covering the combustion grate - Establishing scaffolding - Containers for waste and old masonry, including transporting it away - El (400V,230V/50Hz) - Water Response time The tenderer must be able to provide relevant personnel within 24 hours in the event of an emergent need for any simple repairs outside the audit.
