MVH0094 External Wall Insulation Retrofit Project

Merthyr Valleys Homes is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to complete External Wall Insulation (EWI) Rendering Works to 170 properties at Galon Uchaf, Merthyr Tydfil to meet the requirements of PAS2035 Retrofit Framework. Tenderers will be required to survey the contract area and submit quantities and pricing to fully complete the project including all preliminary and associated costs whether expressly stated in the appending Pricing Schedule (Schedule 3). MVH is ideally seeking to appoint a contractor that has good knowledge of the local area and building types and is able to act as a partner to MVH in ensuring the works are completed on time and to a high standard. The successful Tenderer will be expected to deliver the works as an extension of MVH and take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of the works. Full details relating to the technical specification of the requirement can be found in Appendix A ii Specification. The property address list can also be found in schedule 12. In addition to the EWI works, the successful contractor will be required to Source, Supply, and install AICO Gateway with x1 Environmental Sensor, as per manufacturer’s instructions and specification provided. AICO must be contacted to provide training and installation guidance. The successful Contractor will be required to provide all commissioning, safety checks, and provide installation certification and Minor Works Certificate from a qualified electrician.
