NRS Coffee Solution

National Records of Scotland will be holding a Supplier Event to discuss a potential opportunity for the provision of Coffee Solution and associated services to be located within its iconic buildings and their grounds in Edinburgh city centre. Lot 1: Supplier Event for provision of a Coffee Solution Service National Records of Scotland are currently considering the concept of having a small catering offering for our staff and visitors at our buildings and grounds in the city centre of Edinburgh. The concept is for a Coffee Solution to be located within the building and grounds of General Register House, 2 Princes Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3YY which would offer light refreshments such as coffee/tea and some light snacks. This would be used by both NRS staff, contractors, members of the public who would be visiting and using the search rooms, and other members of the public. Assuming there is sufficient interest generated for this concept, we anticipate that a short contract would be put in place. The contract would be tendered, and the service would run for a period to be determined by market feedback. Our aspiration would be to have services in place by Summer 2025, however this will be dependent on feedback from interested parties and the tendering process. The exact catering model that will be used will be developed based upon market feedback from the supplier event. Further details of the options being considered will be shared at the event. We are very keen to hear the views from all interested parties. The supplier event will be held in General Register House, 2 Princes Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3YY on Friday 11th October 2024. There will be two sessions available, one from 10am – 12pm and the second will be from 1pm - 3pm, if there is sufficient interest. The event will give us the opportunity of providing details of our requirements, discuss potential delivery models and obtain your feedback. We will provide a tour of the building, giving you an opportunity to visit the spaces identified for the Coffee Solution within the building and the grounds.
