Description

Hustadvika fire and rescue service is planning the procurement of a new fire engine (tanker). The vehicle will be delivered in 2020 and stationed at Eide fire-station. Hustadvika fire and rescue service is planning the procurement of a new fire engine (tanker). The vehicle will be delivered in 2020 and stationed at Eide fire-station. The vehicle shall be a tanker with room for a driver plus 1 passenger. It shall have a water tank for minimum 10 000 litres. The vehicle must be delivered with a roof-mounted water cannon, with remote control. The vehicle must have a minimum of 450 HP, disc brakes on all wheels, park brake on all wheels and automatic transmission system. All operating mechanisms shall, if possible, have instructions in Norwegian or symbols that are in accordance with Norwegian standards. The vehicle shall be registered as a lorry and comply with the prevailing regulations on emergency vehicles. The vehicle shall provide maximum safety for the crew.
