Provision of Footwear for the Street Scene Service

Operatives within the Street Scene team are required, as part of their role, to walk on foot around the borough-often covering distances of up to 15 miles per day. To support this requirement, the Council provides operatives with appropriate footwear to enable them to carry out their duties effectively. Through years of trial and error, the Street Scene team has identified and provided footwear tailored to individual needs-taking into account variations in brand, size, shape, and functionality. The goods provided are only available from ARCO, some of them being own brand which are not available from any other supplier. Approximately £25,000 per annum. ## Contract award
