Insurance and pension services

Description

The Local Government Mutual Limited ("LGM") is a discretionary mutual. This procurement is to establish a DPS for the provision of insurance coverage to the LGA and LGA members. Membership is restricted to the LGA and LGA members. LGM has been created to provide its members with an alternative route to purchase their insurance requirements. This procurement will be open to all eligible insurance capacity providers. Insurance brokerage and other associated services will not form part of any procurement process. This DPS is put in place to procure insurance for all classes of insurance as required and determined by LGM and its members. Brokerage and associated services are not part of the subject matter of this procurement. The estimated value contained in Sections II.1.5) and II.2.6) is estimated on the basis the DPS is renewed for up to 36 months following the expiry of the initial 12 month duration. The 12 month estimated value of the DPS is 5 000 000 GBP.
