The Food Safety Authority invite responses to this Request for Tenders for an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). The FSAI wishes to deploy an EDMS for its internal clients. The interface for the application will also function as an intranet for the organisation. The EDMS solution will support general office and business unit functions, including document management and collaboration. Currently there is no requirement to provide access to external users, but this will possibly be a requirement in the future and needs to be anticipated. The solution proposed must include support on needs analysis, advice and guidance on categorisation of documents, libraries and setting up document work-flows. The system must then be planned and implemented, followed by a change management process, training, and support. See Appendix 2 for pricing schedule & specification. Tenderers must include a project plan for the design, development and implementation of the solution, which must reflect how the supplier proposes to implement the delivery strategy, including milestones for implementation.
