Description
Plymouth City Council (PCC) as the lead Contracting Authority is putting in place a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) in association with Independence Brokerage Services CIC (trading as Independence CIC (INCIC) for use by public sector bodies identified at: http://www.incic.org.uk/eligibility-criteria-ee-dps/ The DPS will be open for Contractor / Supplier (Providers) to apply to join from 18th February 2025. Further details of how to Join can be found at: https://www.incic.org.uk/about-plymouth-ee-dps/ A number of public sector bodies are also responsible for energy efficiency initiatives. These authorities have a duty to promote and implement energy efficiency measures under various national and local schemes aimed at reducing carbon emissions and lowering energy costs for residents. The main purpose of this procurement is to facilitate Energy Efficiency measures through a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This system is designed to support local authorities and their partners in accessing energy-efficient products, works, and services. It aims to enhance the energy performance of buildings, contributing to broader environmental and economic objectives such as carbon reduction, economic revitalisation, and public health improvement. The DPS will cover a comprehensive range of energy efficiency categories, allowing for flexible and cost-effective procurement processes that align with available funding streams, including the Warm Homes Local Grant, Local Authority Delivery scheme, the Home Upgrade Grant, and the Energy Company Obligation. This approach enables the continuous improvement of energy efficiency, ensuring that public sector bodies can respond dynamically to emerging needs and opportunities in the energy sector. https://www.incic.org.uk/about-plymouth-ee-dps/ This DPS is split into Lots and Sub Lot (s) and is designed to facilitate the Contracting Authority's and other public sector bodies current and future needs to arrange Energy Efficiency measures for their self and grant applicants. The Lots for this procurement are set out below as follows; https://www.incic.org.uk/about-plymouth-ee-dps/ Apply to join DPS at; https://www.incic.org.uk/about-plymouth-ee-dps/
