Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) have awarded a contract for the provision of Cisco network switches and their associated licences across the following new and refurb locations utilised by the Health Board. These include:• Carmarthenshire Hub,• Pentre Awel,• Picton Terrace,• Council Building Aberystwyth,• Withybush General Hopsital,• Elizabeth Williams Clinic,• South Pembrokeshire Hospital,• Swn y Gwynt,• Ty Bryngwyn.The contract is for the supply and installation of Cisco C9300L switches which will be utilised to configure several new and refurb buildings alongside a closed-circuit television (CCTV) upgrade. This hardware facilitates the simplification of complex networks, optimised information technology and reduced operational costs by leveraging intelligence and automation to allow the connection of edge devices to the sites’ local area network (LAN).The Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Technology Products & Associated Services Two (2) Framework agreement (RM6098) under Lot Two (2) Hardware provides a compliant route to source technology hardware, software and services including end user devices, servers, storage, infrastructure devices, software licences and accessories. This framework includes several potential providers who have achieved inclusion on the framework following a qualification process and procurement approached the a suppliers with links to the Welsh economy.
