3.1 CRW has an investment portfolio as at 31 March 2023 of £4.5 million invested within the ethical markets. 3.2 As a Cancer Research Charity, investments in any tobacco related products is prohibited and this is a non negotiable condition. 3.3 The investment portfolio is held to provide a financial return in the form of interest receivable and investment gains to fund our Research Strategy 3.4 The appointed supplier will be responsible for, but shall not be limited to: I. Reviewing the current Investment Policy and making recommendations as appropriate.. II. Make investment decisions in line with the Investment Policy. III. Provide Quarterly reviews and an annual review of the Investment Portfolio IV. Provide relevant information to enable the preparation of the Charities Financial Statements V. Act as a sounding board and advisor. VI. Actively engage in the activities of the Charity to understand the work we do, challenges and opportunities.
