Description

The Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust (“RDUH”) is seeking via this procurement, to appoint a Service Provider on a long-term connection and supply agreement for an offsite supply of low carbon heat at its hospitals in Exeter. The hospital sites include: • Royal Devon & Exeter (“RD&E”) Hospital Wonford. Maximum heat consumption in the region 12-14 GWh* per year, maximum demand circa 4.5MW • RD&E Hospital Heavitree. Heat consumption in the region of 5.2GWh per year, maximum demand circa 1.3MW * Maximum Wonford heat consumption excluding any heat provided by the existing Wonford Combined Heat and Power unit. The offsite low carbon heat supply should be able to provide up to 100% of the heating demand for both hospital sites.
