Background: Sandnes Municipality will enter into a new framework agreement for official cars, and will, to a large degree, switch to chargeable hybrid cars and electric cars. The official cars are distributed around the municipality, with most being located at residential and care centres in the municipality, and small amount at Vatne operations station. The municipality has a total of approx. 170 official cars, 10 % to 30 % of these cars will still run on petrol and diesel. Work that will be included in the framework agreement: — site inspections of relevant locations; — measure the location's power consumption in order to get a consumption profile; — assess, in consultation with the Contracting Authority, where there is sufficient capacity in the electricity network to establish a charging facility; — carry out all the required engineering design services for the establishment of charging stations; — carry out all the work required to establish the charging stations, including ground work (can be done by a sub-contractor); — maintain and operate a monitoring platform. Progress: the project will start as soon as possible after the contract has been signed, and will have a rational progress. The contracting authority would like most of the charging stations to be ready installed by August. Tenderers must have the capacity to complete their work in accordance with the progress plan for the delivery.
