Provision of comprehensive overall planning, project management, design, production, delivery, maintenance & remediation of Temporary Power & HVAC for the Birmingham Organising Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Ltd ("the OC") in relation to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games ("the Games") with some of their resources embedded within the OC as required both during planning and delivery at a venue level. The requirement will also include the provision of temporary power for the opening & closing ceremonies & back of house areas, with options for the provision of Host Broadcaster Power, and the supply & project management of Fuel. There will also be the opportunity through this procurement to participate in discussions with CGF Partnerships Limited ("CGFP"), in relation to a potential opportunity for the successful supplier to provide equivalent goods & services at subsequent editions of the Commonwealth Games in 2026 and 2030, further information is outlined in section VI. Lot 1: Description of procurement: 71 Commonwealth nations and territories are expected to participate in the XXII Commonwealth Games, which is one of the world's largest multi-sport events, bringing together over 4,000 of the world's elite athletes every 4 years, in an 11-day festival of sport and culture. The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will be held in venues across Birmingham and the West Midlands from 28 July until 8 August 2022. London's Olympic velodrome will also be utilised. Provision of comprehensive overall planning, project management, design, production, delivery, maintenance and remediation of Temporary Power & HVAC for the Birmingham Organising Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Ltd ("the OC") in relation to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games ("the Games") with some of their resources embedded within the OC as required both during planning and delivery at a Venue level. The requirement will also include the provision of temporary power for the opening and closing ceremonies and back of house areas, with options for the provision of Host Broadcaster Power, and the supply and project management of Fuel. All equipment will be on a rental basis for a defined use period per venue, the supplier will be responsible for: •Project Planning •Providing embedded resource for engineering design, planning, project management and site management •Managing the OC functional Area resource scoping towards establishing the optimum scope for each Venue in line with the approved budget and programme constraints and gain OC sign-off for delivery •New equipment fabrication/manufacturing or procurement and testing •Equipment logistics, installation, assembly, testing, commissioning and operational performance demonstration of completed systems •Games operations, maintenance, repair or replacement of the systems •Decommissioning, removal and remediation after the Games. Temporary power systems are required at a majority of venues, this ranges from 100% overlay through to fit-out specs within existing sport / exhibition venues. HVAC systems using temporary chillers and air handling units using fabric ducting at high level within tents are currently required at the following spaces; Commonwealth Games Village – main dining tent and the main dining kitchen production tent, Sandwell Aquatics Centre – warm up pool tent and link corridor, Core Technology Spaces - technology equipment room and on- venue results/ timing control room. Temporary Power is estimated to equate to circa 90% of the requirement, and HVAC approximately 10%.Further information on the OC's requirements can be found in the additional notes section VI.3 and in the procurement documents available at www.deltaesourcing.com As stated in section, II.1.5 it is estimated that the contract value range for the Birmingham 2022 games is 10 000 000 GBP to 14 000 000 GBP, this value includes the options for the provision of (i) Host Broadcaster Power Scope, and (ii) the provision of Fuel (to include project management for the supply and management of fuel) as outlined within this notice for Birmingham 2022.
