Wheelchair services in the Plymouth and South Hams locations Lot 1: The framework representative has confirmed that the framework has been extended for 12 months until the 31st of December 2025, and it is possible to have an agreement in place that goes past the expiry date. Devon ICB's reasoning for the direct award of 2 +1 is that this service will require at least 12-14 month procurement to secure the best value for money service when taking into consideration the time period required for service design, user engagement, procurement process and mobilisation. The initial scheduled procurement was delayed due to the Pre-election period and Devon ICB's restructuring phase will likely not conclude until March 2025.
