West Oxfordshire MRT Options Appraisal

Description

Assess existing and future travel patterns and available data such as origin/destination data with a particular focus on where West Oxfordshire residents will travel to/from (i.e. Oxford city centre, other destinations within and beyond Oxfordshire, (including consideration of traffic movements to and from the west of the outlined corridor) employment areas, hospitals etc). Identify obstacles to modal shift and infrastructure delivery within West Oxfordshire. Identify, assess and recommend mass rapid transit solutions that are deliverable by 2050 and support sustainable economic growth and overcome the identified obstacles. Acknowledge whether (or not) the identified cut off of 2050 is a barrier to long term MRT solutions. ## Contract award
