Tintern Abbey Rope Access Works

Description

Cadw is the Welsh Government's historic environment service working for an accessible and well-protected historic environment for Wales. Cadw have a requirement for a qualified and experienced contractor to deliver rope access works required at Tintern Abbey. The purpose of the works are to make Tintern Abbey safe and accessible for visitors and members of the public and to improve the structural integrity and visual presentation to the inaccessible high level areas above 2 metres from local ground level of the monument. This will be achieved through the selective treatment, removal and clearance of weeds & damaging vegetation, application of consequential re pointing and selective consolidation of the historic masonry fabric using rope access.
