MS New Vigra III — school excursion ship A contract will be signed between the non-profit company Inspiria Science Center AS (INSPIRIA) and Fredrikstad Municipality in order to ensure good deliveries to all of Fredrikstad's primary schools, and, at the same time, give a good basis for the continuation and development of the New Vigra offer for the benefit of pupils and schools in Fredrikstad and elsewhere in the region. Lot 1: MS New Vigra III — school excursion ship Day missions for all 7 year classes in Fredrikstad Municipality. — specially developed web system with supplementary work adapted to LK20 for use in schools; — 2-hour digital teacher course for excursion preparation, as well as use of supplementary work; — fruit and water for all pupils (they will take a packed lunch and drink themselves); — all information and booking for the schools. Fredrikstad Municipality has reviewed the tender and has not found other suppliers that can deliver such services. Inspiria upgraded the vessel with a lot of new equipment for the pupils. ROVs for underwater video, new good microscopes, 4 large monitors for viewing results, side zones from Kongsberg Maritime, research echo sounder for watching fish, etc. The boat has also been upgraded with completely new adapted loudspeaker installations. This has been possible by using the boat in parts of the year for other projects, mainly for deliveries to sixth form colleges. Fredrikstad Municipality and Inspiria would like to maintain the popular offer for schools in the region. The contract will be valid for the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
