RES/EN Generation of Electricity and Gas: DPS

Description

<p>As part of Bristol City Council's ongoing desire to drive emissions down across the city, we are looking to set up an Energy Generation DPS with a preference for 'green' energy wherever possible. Generators on the DPS will be invited to bid to supply nominated BCC sites in periodic mini-competitions as required. It is expected that successful generators will be encouraged to sign very long-term contracts (up to 20 years) to supply electricity to the Council. The through-life value of individual contracts of this length will be significant. New generators who meet the qualifying criteria will be able to join the DPS at any point.</p> Keywords: Energy
