Lot 1: I-SEM Phase 2: To Support Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) Functions The procurement required the tender to provide services to allow SEMOpx, as a designated NEMO, to operate the ex-ante day ahead and intraday markets in compliance with the Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management regulation (CACM (EU) 2015/1222). These services include; • operation of a service help desk to provide urgent operational support for ex-ante trading on a 24x7 basis and non-urgent member queries during office hours • providing material for updated operational procedures • registration and providing access to trading systems for SEMOpx members • management of trading systems including software updates and release notes • management of trading sessions o opening of order books o reception of cross zonal capacities as required o order collection o closure of order books o submission of information to the Market Coupling Operator as required o matching , reception and validation of market results o recording of transactions and data publication o updating financial limits • clearing and shipping services o admission and termination of trading participants and clearing members o customer service and clearing query management o financial settlement of SEMOpx transactions o nominations and physical settlement of transactions with the balancing market o management and margining of collaterals o management of trading limits o management of currency conversion process o operation and maintenance of clearing systems o provision of settlement reports o physical and financial settlement of interconnector flows • member fee invoicing and settlement
