The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications (the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for appointment to a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the Provision of Laboratory Analysis Services in support of Geological Survey Ireland’s “Irish Construction Materials” Project: Aggregates (the “Framework Agreement”) for the provision of the services as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Services”). In summary, the Services comprise: Laboratory testing of and analytical services for construction materials, in particular geogenic materials including aggregates, sands, dimension stone and materials arising therein. Geological Survey Ireland a division of the the Department seeks tenders for inclusion in a multi supplier framework to provide testing and analytical services as requested during a potential 4 year term framework. Lot 1: The Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications (the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for appointment to a Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement for the Provision of Laboratory Analysis Services in support of Geological Survey Ireland’s “Irish Construction Materials” Project: Aggregates (the “Framework Agreement”) for the provision of the services as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (the “Services”). In summary, the Services comprise: Laboratory testing of and analytical services for construction materials, in particular geogenic materials including aggregates, sands, dimension stone and materials arising therein. Geological Survey Ireland is a line division of the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications and is Ireland's public earth science knowledge centre. Within the minerals programme, GSI runs the Irish Construction Materials Project, a multi discipline programme which provides research, data and scientific advice on all geological aspects of construction, including dimension stone, sands & gravels, crushed rock and other construction product components. The project focuses on the sustainable supply of these raw materials, the security of supply to ensure the delivery of national strategic goals and the suitability of raw materials for their intended use. GSI seeks tenders for inclusion in a multi supplier framework to provide testing and analytical services as requested during the lifetime of the framework. See RFT Document Appendix 1
