Mobile surgical tables

St.Olavs Hospital would like to procure 3 mobile surgical tables for the Emergency Theatres in the children's orthopaedic lounge in the KVB centre and for the surgery department in the Movement Centre. The departments currently only have Maquet tables with a loose base in the theatres. Therefore it is necessary to have the same system for the new surgical tables. Lot 1: St.Olavs Hospital would like to procure 3 mobile surgical tables for the Emergency Theatres in the children's orthopaedic lounge in the KVB centre and for the surgery department in the Movement Centre. The departments currently only have Maquet tables with a loose base in the theatres. Therefore it is necessary to have the same system for the new surgical tables. The equipment they currently have can be used across the theatres independent of the centre - a factor they believe contributes to increased flexibility to succeed with the operation of the surgical department. The standardisation of surgical tables also strengthens the quality of training for employees who have this as a large annual competence requirement in order to provide the service both through e-learning and in practical training. One of the largest areas of responsibility that surgical nurses have is to prepare so that the intended surgery can be carried out in a safe and good way by avoiding inflicting further injuries/complication on the patient when they are being laid on and fixed to the surgical table. Accessories such as trolleys make it possible to use table tops and adapt each theatre to the surgery in question. These can currently only be used on the bases from the contract supplier. It is therefore important that the table tops can be used on the existing equipment. As far as the contracting authority knows, only Puls AS can deliver table tops that are suitable for the existing equipment. The delivery is therefore exempt from a contest, cf. the public procurement regulations section13-4 b) no. 2: 'The procurement is for services that only a specific supplier can provide as competition is impossible due to technical reasons.'
