Description

South Ayrshire Council wish to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake external stone repairs and stabilisation works to Old Kirk, Kirk Street, Prestwick, KA9 1AU. Repairs and stabilisation of stonework to a Scheduled Ancient Monument, including removing vegetation, taking down and rebuilding selected wall sections, replacement or indenting of selected isolated stones, complete repointing internally and externally, cleaning stone, gravity grouting to voids in in isolated areas, temporary protection measures including laying gravel working path/platform and protection adjacent gravestones and markers.
