Description

The purpose of the procurement is to establish a framework agreement for the purchase of aeronautical maps, database management and correction services. Lot 1: The purpose of the procurement is to establish a framework agreement for the purchase of aeronautical maps, database management and correction services. The series of aeronautical maps from the Norwegian Air Force [Luftforsvaret (LF)] is used by all aircraft types in the Norwegian Armed Forces during navigation under VFR (visual flight rules) conditions. This includes the F-35, C-130J, P-8, P-3C, AW101, Sea King, Bell 412 and Saab Safari aircraft types. The aeronautical maps are also used by all foreign units that train or operate in Norway. In addition to cartographic objects for navigation purposes, aerial maps contain important information about vertical obstructions, airspace structure and protected areas, among other things.
