Description

The Trust aims to ensure that their existing on-site energy centre is used as efficiently and effectively as possible in a manner that reduces energy costs and carbon emissions. The Trust was therefore seeking to install a battery storage solution at Kingston Hospital. Please note that this procurement was run by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust's wholly owned subsidiary ETL. The Trust aims to ensure that their existing on-site energy centre is used as efficiently and effectively as possible in a manner that reduces energy costs and carbon emissions. The Trust was therefore seeking to install a battery storage solution at Kingston Hospital with the following requirements: — a containerised, modular system capable of relocation, if required, — a cost model whereby the Trust makes no capital investment and pays no ongoing servicing/operational costs and the Trust is paid a fixed percentage of the savings or a flat annual fee, — integration with the Trust’s HV network and any future renewables, — measurement and verification services to demonstrate performance of the battery storage solution and the associated savings achieved.
