Lot 1: The successful Supplier will be required to provide Caretaking and Cleaning services for The Priory Learning Trust (Trust) at the following sites: •West Huntspill Primary Academy ~ New Road, West Huntspill, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 3QE •East Huntspill Primary Academy ~ New Road. East Huntspill. Highbridge. Somerset. TA9 3PT •St Anne’s Church Academy (Hewish) ~ Bristol Road, Hewish, Weston-super-Mare BS24 6RT •St Anne’s Church Academy (West Wick) ~ 1 Scot Elm Dr, West Wick, Weston-super-Mare BS24 7JU •Castle Batch Primary School Academy ~ Rawlins Ave, Weston-super-Mare BS22 7FN •Pawlett Primary School Academy ~ Gaunts Rd, Pawlett, Bridgwater TA6 4SB This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful contractor also guaranteeing the number of input hours to the contract as well as the quality of Caretaking and Cleaning provision. We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the secondary/ primary school sector, ideally with a strong operational base within the Somerset / Bristol area, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when needed moving forwards into this contract term. The scope of the contract covers all Caretaking and Cleaning provision within the academies listed above. The basis and rationale that the Trust requires is that the successful contractor operates to, at all times, being able to provide clean and functioning premises that are fit for purpose delivering the guaranteed level of input hours at all times, and that the successful contractor is proactive in the management of the contract, thus ensuring that all specifications are achieved and that the frequency of all cleans and tasks as detailed within tender specification’s takes place. The successful contractor will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month thus updating the senior management team within the Trust on the contract performance on an academy-by-academy basis on the delivery of the contract specifications for both the provision of caretaking and cleaning services. The current Caretaking and Cleaning contract value is a cost of approximately £87,000.00 per annum. The contract being offered is for three years which commences on 1st April 2022 and concludes on 31st March 2025 and will be on a fixed price basis, there will be the option to extend the contract for a further period of three years on a 1 + 1 + 1 basis on the same terms and conditions excluding the right to further extend beyond six years in duration. The Trust is expected to grow in the number of schools during this contract period, and the provision of caretaking and cleaning services within these schools when they have joined the Trust will fall under the scope of this contract. The successful contractor will be expected to provide this service within these additional schools using the same costing model, ratios etc. that they applied to their successful tender submission for the Trust at the point of tender submission. The duration of contract for these schools will not be increased and they will join the contract for the remaining contract period that exists at the point of entry into the Trust. Please note: Further schools may be added to the contract during the tender process and during the life of the contract as detailed above. Additionally, the Trust reserves the right to award in whole or part the final contract with no commitment that all schools listed above will form part of the final contract. This decision will be based entirely on the successful contractor’s tender submission in both qualitative and financial terms.
