— the provision and modification of workshop facilities, — the purchase, installation and maintenance of specialist equipment. The Thermal-Hydraulics Open-access Research facility (THOR) will be a first phase in a stepwise approach to develop competence, research capability and techniques in advance of an eventual establishment of the UK National Thermal-Hydraulics Facility (NTHF) at Menai Science Park (M-SParc).
