Removal of old boardwalk and installation of new boardwalk and associated access infrastructure on core path 12 “Hugh Paton path” Auchencairn, near Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway. Lot 1: Quick Quote to market to address past experience on similar projects, approach and methodology and Community Benefits to carry out the works: Purpose Removal of old boardwalk and installation of new boardwalk and associated access infrastructure on core path 12 “Hugh Paton path” Auchencairn, near Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway. Works required 1. Dismantling, removal, and disposal to certified site of 302 linear metres of timber boardwalk 2. Supply and construction of three sections of new timber boardwalk with, non-slip strips and accessible ramps at each end comprising - - 1 x boardwalk 40 metres long, 1600 wide. Timber accessible ramp each end - 1 x boardwalk 180 metres long, 1600 wide. Timber accessible ramp each end - 1 x boardwalk 82 metres long, 1600 wide. Timber accessible ramp each end 3. Supply and Installation of x1 number, 1 -way self-closing gate, material - metal or timber 4. Supply and construction of accessible timber ramps to existing x4 small time bridges 5. Vegetation clearance - 30 linear meters of Gorse cleared 1 metre width each side of path 6. Vegetation clearance - 30 linear metres of rush / grass cutting/ strimming at bridges.
