Consultant to help define a clear strategy for Rail Reform as part of our Weaver Network- an integrated transport system combining buses, rail, mass transit, walking, cycling, highways, and shared transport. It is designed to meet diverse travel needs across urban and rural areas, linking local journeys with national networks. This support is crucial to ensure that we have a well-defined position on rail reform by the end of this year -in particular, reasoned recommendations as to the preferred model of devolution for WYCA to adopt and to identify, in keeping with this, the next steps, the road map and resource requirement in rail reform.
