Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) is seeking expressions of interest from suppliers who are able to supply a variety of Plants Trees & Shrubs including Semi Mature Trees. The successful supplier/s will be required to provide a quick turn around and be able to accommodate quick unscheduled deliveries to sites throughout the Borough of Rotherham. The agreement will be split into three lots as follows: Lot 1 The supply of Seasonal Bedding Plants Lot 2 The supply of Trees and Shrubs Lot 3 The supply, planting and 3yr maintenance of Semi Mature Specialist Trees The framework will be awarded initially for a period of 12 months with the option to extend at the sole discretion of RMBC for a further three 12 month periods, each on a year by year basis. The total spend over the 48 month contract period is expected to be £292,000GBP however this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volume of business is indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on Rotherham Council's actual future needs. The approximate spend across the three lots is as follows: Lot 1 - £156,000 over the agreement period (£39,000per annum) Lot 2 - £84,000 over the agreement period (£21,000per annum) Lot 3 - £52,000 over the agreement period (£13,000annum) This invitation is made on behalf of Rotherham Borough Council and all of the other local authorities in the United Kingdom (collectively described where the context requires as the Contracting Authorities) who may wish to utilise the services of the successful Tenderer (s).' 'The agreement will be a framework agreement let by Rotherham Borough Council for the benefit of Rotherham Borough Council and other Contracting Authorities who may wish to call-off orders under the agreement. Rotherham Borough Council will be a central purchasing body for this purpose.
