All Age Continuing Care Services/ Provision of Retrospective Reviews and Appeals in Mid and South Essex - Modification to the Contract

Lot 1: All Age Continuing Care Services/ Provision of Retrospective Reviews and Appeals in Mid and South Essex Background The provision of Retrospective Reviews and Appeals service in Mid and South Essex was commissioned by Mid and South Essex ICB via on 28th July 2025, via a call-off from the F092 All Age Continuing Care Services Framework. The original term of the contract was 6th August 2025 to the 6th February 2026, with an option to extend by a further 6 months. This option was executed last year and consequently the revised contract expiry date was amended to 6th August 2026. Following the original award of the contract the announcement was made that from 1st April 2026 the existing ICBs covering the Essex footprint would be abolished, with a new ICB for Essex being established form 1st April 2026. Consequent discussions with Xyla have agreed to extend the provisions of the contract for provision of PuPOC and Appeals support for the additional Essex populations of West and North East Essex. Description The Age Continuing Care Services/ Provision of Retrospective Reviews and Appeals in Mid and South Essex, Framework Reference F/092/ACCSS/23/MH, Atamis reference: C380765 shall be amended in accordance with Cluse 21 of Schedule 2(Change Management) of these Call-Off Terms and Conditions as follows: - • There shall be a modification of the existing Xyla contract, increasing the contract term by 6-months (to 6th February 2027), in accordance with Clause 15.2 of Schedule 2 of these Call-off Terms and Conditions. • The value of the contract shall be amended by £64,000 + VAT to cover new and outstanding PuPOC and Appeals across Essex ICB from 9th March 2026. Activity & Finance impact Proposed uplift: £64,000 (excl. VAT), to be applied from 9th March 2026.
