This contract was awarded under reg 14 of the Provider Selection Regime due to an urgent need to ensure continuity of the Trusts Urgent Treatment Centre service. This urgency was not reasonably foreseeable to the trust, and patients would have been at risk of harm if had this award not been made. This notice refers to the award of an interim contract to ensure continuity of service whilst the procurement of a substantive contract takes place Lot 1: This notice is confirmation of an urgent award under Regulation 14 of the Provider Selection Regime for the provision of GP staffing for Hampshire Hospitals NHSFT to provide Urgent Treatment Centre Services from its Basingstoke hospital site, this service is essential for relieving patient numbers presenting to the hospital emergency department with minor illnesses. The interim contract has been established for an initial 6 month term from 01/04/2026 to 30/09/2026 and can be extended by up to a maximum further 6 months.
