Description
Hire and maintenance of Cranes at Network Rail Holgate depot Lot 1: NR are looking to replace / overhaul 14 No. overhead cranes as many of the components are life expired. Two cranes were installed in the 1950’s, whilst all other cranes were installed in 1997/98. A key aspect of these works is to ensure all new / overhauled cranes are standardised for ease of use by the operators. Where the solution involves a combination of new cranes and overhauled cranes, the overhauled cranes must be upgraded with the same control and features as the new cranes to ensure standardisation.
