HSE Southern Capital and Estates will appoint a Competent HVAC Contractor to provide emergency call out provision, general small works, planned and reactive maintenance service projects. The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a Term Maintenance Contract with the Tenderer which is successful in the competition. The Contracting Authority –HSE is insisting that all companies applying for inclusion in this competition must confirm that they hold an up to date F-Gas Company Certificate and confirm the number of employees who are certified in the Safe Handling of Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases and Refrigerants It will be a requirement of this contract for the successful contractor to keep on each site a F- Gas log book about any equipment that has to be checked for leaks- recording of data to include: - the quantity and type of gas in the equipment when it is installed, quantity and type of gas added during any maintenance, name, address and certificate number if relevant of any companies that install, service or decommission the equipment, the dates and results of all mandatory leak checks, the measures taken to recover and dispose of gases when the equipment is disposed of, e.g. through a register waste carrier.
