GoJ – NHF Programme – HCJ Planned Maintenance Roof Works

The proposed works are for the maintenance of the existing first floor roof and tower block roofs (approx. 5500m²) of the Enid Quenault Health & Wellbeing Centre (EQHWC). The works will include overlaying the existing asphalt roof finishes with a new liquid membrane, roofing access works and bird proofing works.?? The roofing works are anticipated to extend over a period of 30 days/500 hours and therefore deemed as a Major Project, which will need to be managed by a Principal Contractor and a HSPC under Management in Construction (Jersey) Regulations 2016. This opportunity will be awarded under a single Contract, the NEC4 ECC Form (Option A) with the successful Contractor being appointed as the Principal Contractor. This role will also encompass managing another Contractor on site who will be responsible for the essential maintenance works of the external windows and doors (Client appointment). We anticipate that the ITT will be released week commencing the 5th January 2026 and the anticipated start on site date is April 2026 and completion no later than September 2026. The Contractor should note this is a live facility with staff, patients and other users accessing and egressing the facility throughout the working week.
