Supply of Miscellaneous Tyres

West Yorkshire Police (WYP) have their own Transport Department which undertakes servicing and repairs to police vehicles including replacing worn and punctured tyres. Suppliers must be able to supply a range of commercially available tyres on a 'supply only' basis to the main stores based in Wakefield and from time to time to any location within the West Yorkshire boundary. Suppliers should be aware that WYP have an existing contract with Goodyear who provide WYP with Goodyear brand tyres. To complement the existing Goodyear contract, Suppliers will be required to provide a range of various brand tyres to West Yorkshire Police to meet ad-hoc requirements. Volumes and brands will vary however the estimated contract value based on historic purchase data is anticipated to equate to around one hundred and fifty thousand pounds per annum (£150,000 p/a).
